Who I want to help: Animals

What I want to build? An animal shelter

 Why: Animal abuse is increasing

Mission: Fight animal abuse and find and help abused animals find a home where they can be loved and protected.

 Vision: Stop animal abuse

                                      Animal Cruelty:

When we think about cruelty and violence, we immediately think in women and child abuse, hunger, among others, but how often do we think about animal abuse? Not much do we? While reading this paragraph I would like you to reflect and I hope, motivate you to be the voice of those creatures that can’t defend themselves. The Happy Paws
Organization
was created to fight animal cruelty and to help abandoned and abused animals find a home where they can be protected and loved.  Over the years, we have seen that animal cruelty has increased dramatically. We want to create conscience among the population to stop these violent acts towards animals. Sometimes people prefer not to know this abuse and sadly, helping these “people” if you can call them that, continue with their acts. Studies have shown that animal abuse is linked to future serial killers and murderers. "Anyone who has accustomed himself to regard the life of any living creature as worthless is in danger of arriving also at the idea of worthless human lives,"  (Schweitzer). In some cases, people don’t know that what they are doing it’s wrong (unintentional abuse) but in other cases, some people intentionally hurt animals because they enjoy hurting them making them feel “powerful” (Cruel intention).

The types of animal abuse are increasing every day and people are desperate to stop them. Some of these are dog fights where dogs are extremely injured, animal experimentation, where animals are exposed to extreme cruelty in the name of beauty, crush videos where is shown people crushing puppies and kitten’s heads with their feet, overpopulation, pet abandonment where owners chose to abandon animals in the streets instead of looking for a new home for them, torture, beating them to death, hanging them from trees and one of the worst, taking their fur for clothing.  On fur farms, more than four million animals are killed each year. They live their entire lives in tiny, barren, wire mesh cages where they may literally go insane before they are gassed, electrocuted, clubbed to death or have their necks broken.

How to stop animal abuse?

There are many ways to stop animal cruelty.  You can start by encourage others to join you because if you are alone no one will take you seriously. Support animal organizations that are against animal abuse like PETA, ASPCA, The Humane Society, Santuario San Francisco de Asis and others. Be against animal testing. Report animal abuse to the authorities, talk to your family and friends about how to treat animals with kindness and respect and support your local shelter to see if they need donations or to see how you can help.

We have to create conscience and understand that animals were made to make us company so why keep hurting them? These creatures are the most loyal companions that you can have around you. Be their voice, gave them love, play with them and most of all, protect them because if you don’t do it, who else would? Just remember…. do not treat others they way you don’t want to be treated……

Note: I wanted to post pictures so you can see how far the human race can go but it was too horrible for me to see the pictures myself.

I loved it because your organization's mission is really similar to mine. I'm 100% against animal abuse and I'm happy to see other persons with the same thoughts as mine. <3 Kuddos to you!

Very easy to read and I liked that you quoted people and called the things by their name like "unintentional abuse" and "Cruel intention".

Perhaps you should post the pictures, seeing something that horrible can make people get a conscience..

Hey!! I found a mistake that you can review!
Incorrect: You can start by encourage others...
Correct: You can start by encouraging others...

I Think your ideas are well constructed.
Feedback: You are missing some capital letters at the beginning of some sentences.

When you say they are many types of animal abuse you don't have to list all of them you can just mention some of them and stick to the one your writing about.

I love this cause, and it's another one very close to my heart. (In fact, in my blog, there's an old post about it.) You asked to receive feedback on grammar. Spelling-wise, the errors were minor, like using "encourage" instead of "encouraging" and using "gave" instead of "give". They weren't that many, so don't sweat it!
However, I did find that maybe you should integrate the use of dashes, along with your commas. (I'm talking about the second sentence in your second paragraph.)

Other than that, I really liked your post, and it is well-written because, like I said before, the errors are really minor.

As asked I'm only going to me commenting on the structure and grammar of your post.
"Fight animal abuse by helping abused animals find a home where they can be loved and protected." <-- I think that makes the sentence easier to read.
"and I intend to hopefully motivate you to be the"
"start by encouraging others"
"give them love"
Those were the grammatical errors that I could find. Other than that structure wise I think its very good. I like how you present the ideas and how it was very easy to read from beginning to end.
